We are currently seeking people for the following opportunity:
Seeking disabled, Deaf, and neurodiverse people from Quebec to join our LTRT Accessibility Advisory Group.
Nous sommes à la recherche de personnes en situation de handicap, sourdes et neurodivergentes situées au Québec pour notre groupe consultatif sur l'accessibilité LTRT.
The advisory group consists of 8-10 people who have various disabilities, as well as representation from a variety of other groups (e.g. Francophones, women, racialized people, LGBTQIA2S +, Indigenous people, live in rural areas). Advisory group members are asked to share their stories, opinions, and priorities with various organizations including governments, public sector organizations, and private businesses to help with the creation of their accessibility plans.
We are seeking a group member to provide a Quebecois view and approach to providing accessibility assessment and advice. As the group’s activities are conducted in English, a bilingual applicant is ideal (conversational English is fine). If you are unsure if your language abilities are a good fit, we encourage you to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can discuss it further!
